Welcome to Kingsley Tails (“Kingsley Tails”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). We operate an online
platform that allows dog owners (“Owners” or “Users”) to connect with independent dog care
providers (“Professionals”) through our website kingsleytails.com (the “Platform”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Platform. By using
the Platform, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not
agree, do not use the Platform.
Kingsley Tails is a directory and connection platform only. We are not a pet care provider
and do not offer dog walking, training, boarding, or sitting services ourselves.
We do not employ or supervise Professionals listed on the Platform. We are not responsible
for the performance, behaviour, conduct, or outcomes of any services offered by Professionals.
All contracts for services are strictly between Owners and Professionals. You understand and
agree that Kingsley Tails is not a party to any agreement entered into between users.
Kingsley Tails initially conducts general checks on professionals, including DBS, public
liability insurance and dog first aid certification. However, it is the responsibility of each
professional to ensure their documents and qualifications remain valid and up to date. Dog
owners are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence, including verifying that
the professional has the legal right to work in the UK and that all certifications are current.
To use the Platform, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts;
• Use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
To use certain features, you must register for a Kingsley Tails account. You agree to:
• Provide accurate and complete information;
• Keep your account information up to date;
• Maintain the security of your password and login credentials;
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms or pose risk to
our Platform.
Professionals may access the Platform through a paid monthly subscription, with the
following plans:
• Trusted membership: £36.00 / month
• Crown membership: £48.00 / month
All fees are non-refundable. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled
before the next billing cycle. Kingsley Tails uses third-party payment processors (stripe) and
does not store payment data directly.
We do not guarantee the number of clients leads, inquiries, or revenue a Professional will
receive from being listed on Kingsley Tails.
Professionals listed on Kingsley Tails are independent contractors. They are not employees,
agents, or representatives of Kingsley Tails. We do not provide insurance, equipment, or
training for Professionals.
Professionals are solely responsible for:
• Their own tax reporting and legal compliance;
• Holding appropriate insurance and licensing;
• Performing services agreed with Owners.

While we may vet applicants during onboarding, Kingsley Tails makes no guarantees or
warranties regarding:
• The background, experience, or qualifications of Professionals.
• Their insurance coverage or criminal history.
• The quality or safety of their services.
Users must conduct their own due diligence before hiring a Professional. Including verifying
that the professional has the legal right to work in the UK and that all certifications are
current.
You may post text, reviews, profile information, and other content (“User Content”) to the
Platform. By submitting User Content, you:
• Represent that it is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe on third-party rights;
• Grant Kingsley Tails a royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use, modify,
and display that content.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates our policies or applicable law.
10. Code of Conduct
You agree not to:
• Use the Platform for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes;
• Harass, abuse, or exploit any other user;
• Post content that is defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory;
• Circumvent the Platform by booking services off-platform in a way that violates our
rules.
You the user agree to use Kingsley Tails platform at your discretion of what is appropriate.
We may suspend or terminate access to anyone who breaches this Code of Conduct.
Kingsley Tails uses third-party tools and services (e.g., hosting providers, email platforms,
payment processors). Mailchimp, JotForm, Stripe, WordPress. Your use of such services may
be subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which Kingsley Tails is not responsible
for.
Kingsley Tails provides the Platform “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any
kind.
We disclaim all responsibility and liability for:
• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing or profile;
• The quality, safety, legality, or suitability of services arranged through the Platform;
• The conduct or performance of any User or Professional;
• Any injury, illness, damage, loss, or death of a person or dog during or after services
arranged through the Platform;
• Any booking, communication, or transaction that occurs off-platform or outside our
knowledge.
No Liability for Injury, Loss, or Death
Kingsley Tails accepts no liability or responsibility for any injury, illness, accident, loss,
theft, escape, or death of any dog, person, or animal that occurs during or as a result of
services arranged through the Platform. All interactions and services are conducted entirely at
the Users’ own risk.
Kingsley Tails does not verify the competence or insurance coverage of Professionals beyond
our initial vetting process and makes no guarantees or warranties of any kind.
We strongly encourage all Owners to:
• Conduct their own due diligence;
• Request proof of insurance and qualifications;
• Meet Professionals in advance of any services.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kingsley Tails and its affiliates, owners, directors, and
employees shall not be liable for:
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
• Loss of profits, goodwill, data, or business opportunity;
• Injuries, damages, or losses arising out of the actions of any Professional or Owner;
• Claims resulting from disputes between users or third parties.
Total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of £100 or the amount paid by
you to Kingsley Tails in the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kingsley Tails, its directors, officers, and
affiliates from and against any third-party claims, losses, or liabilities arising from:
• Your use of the Platform;
• Your interactions with other users;
• Any breach of these Terms.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice,
for any reason, including breach of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time
by contacting us.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
You agree not to bring class or collective actions against Kingsley Tails.
17. Updates to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms. Any changes will be posted on our website with
a new effective date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised
Terms.
